Totally Tubular Fertilizer Placement System For John Deere 1700 Series MaxEmerge 5

The Totally Tubular Fertilizer Placement System enables precise placement of starter fertilizer approximately 1/4" below the seed bed to optimize starter fertilizer root uptake and effectiveness. (Use Model T300 tubes to apply liquid nitrogen fertilizer solution beside the seed trench behind the closing wheels.) An independent test showed a 5% yield increase on corn compared to traditional fertilizer placement systems.
These durable 3/8" stainless tubes are custom manufactured to fit the planter models noted below and include all-stainless mounting hardware—no welding required! Totally Tubular systems are designed to outfit with John Guest 3/8" tube fittings (not included).* The optional seed bounce flap (sold separately) closes the opening between disc openers and assures correct seed placement by eliminating bounce and ricochet during operation.

*TT002 is constructed of thicker stainless steel and will NOT fit John Guest tube fittings.

Recommended: Replace disc openers when you install the tube systems. Check valves should also be utilized with these fertilizer tubes, located close to the tube itself. Be sure to see our diaphragm check valves!
